Strengthening Our Nation Sauna Services was established in 2022. Sauna pronounced “SOW-na” comes from Finnish language and means ‘wooden room’. The temperature inside is between 70 and 100 °C. Visiting sauna, warming the body, then cooling in the shower, in the pool or in the lake, often, with the aim of preserving the health and wellness of mind, body and soul. In Scandinavian and Baltic countries sauna has social and spiritual value. This also aligns with Indigenous First Nation beliefs in a sweat lodge used for overall wellness.
